Last night my GREAT friend Nikki held a party for Ruth, one of the ladies in our neighborhood. Ruth has breast cancer and is currently going through chemo like my mom. There was so much support from wonderful ladies in our area. She got tons of cute hats and there were lots of wonderful desserts. Of course I didn't eat any, I will NOT break my diet!!!! This cancer thing is so evil. I can't believe how many people it affects. And then their are people like Ruth and my mom, who just deal with it and keep on smiling and living. They are true HEROES!!!Thanks girls for being awesome examples and for fighting the battle. (I will try to get a picture from Nikki to post...I forgot my camera and I couldn't steal a picture off Nikki's blog!)
